Bringing medicine jam music to the world.

Born of the psychedelic jam music sensation Salamander Collective, and led by vocalist and songwriter SoulTree and multi-instrumentalist Cy Fontenot, the project blends soulful songwriting, roots-infused grooves, world rhythms, and improvisational spirit with medicine music from Central and South America~ creating what they call medicine jam music.

The group has toured throughout the Southwest and the Pacific Northwest, sharing their music at festivals, gatherings, ecstatic dances, community celebrations, ceremonies, and healing spaces, as well as hosting and co-creating their own immersive music-centered events and festival. SoulTree & the Salamanders focus is connection, joy, and music as a living, breathing, communal experience.

While the full band brings a rich, dynamic, and dance-forward sound, the duo SoulTree & Cylamander offers a more intimate and versatile form of the project — weaving flute, djembe, guitar, bass, and lush harmonies across inspired originals and creative, soulful covers. This stripped-down offering is perfect for weekly residencies, cafes, listening rooms, private gatherings, house concerts, festivals, and ceremonial spaces, bringing warmth, groove, and intention to any environment.
